Improving your relationship with your home
While doing some work in Tappahannock, we learned there weren’t many resources for the Northern Neck resident to get the design help that they needed. They would have to plan out a trip to Richmond or D.C. and still come home unsatisfied. It was then that we realized we needed to extend our reach to all of the Northern Neck Peninsula and provide residents the same services they could find in larger cities.
Dogwood Interiors is a full-service interior design studio based out of Mechanicsville, VA. We strive to serve those in the Richmond area as well as the Northern Neck and anywhere in between.
What started as a passion project helping friends and family stroll the isles of their local home decor stores has turned full-time, full-on obsession.
While a lot has changed since those weekend projects, our philosophy has stayed the same: design means nothing if it doesn’t speak to you.

Our approach is simple. We work with you to find the things that don’t work in your house and find a creative solution to make it feel uniquely you. You will be involved every step of the way. We help you discover your own style and create living spaces that are both beautiful and functional for you and your family for years to come.
Meet Victoria
For as long as I can remember, interior design has been the one thing that I can get lost in and completely lose track of time. Whether it’s rearranging existing decor or starting from scratch, I’ve always loved creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and bring a sense of peace to those who live there.
I have used my passion for interior design and knowledge of available furniture and accessories to assist friends and family in designing spaces that fit their needs all while keeping their style in mind. As my reputation spread through word of mouth, I began assisting others by providing a visual of their rooms filled with items reflecting their own individual style and preferences at prices they could afford.
And this is how Dogwood Interiors came to be.
